Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional to join our US Taxation team. The role involves preparing and reviewing US federal and state tax returns, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations, and supporting international tax planning and advisory functions for clients or internal stakeholders based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and/or review US federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships (1065), corporations (1120), and S-corporations (1120S)
  • Assist in tax planning, projections, and advisory services for US-based clients
  • Ensure compliance with IRS regulations, FATCA, BEPS, and other international tax frameworks
  • Conduct tax research and prepare technical memos on complex tax issues
  • Support audits and respond to tax notices from US tax authorities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and workpapers in accordance with firm and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and audit
  • Stay updated on changes in US tax laws and regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance
  • US CPA, EA, or pursuing certification (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of experience in US taxation, preferably in a Big 4 or shared services environment
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IRS codes, and international tax compliance
  • Proficiency in tax software such as GoSystem, CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or UltraTax
  • Familiarity with tools like Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, and SAP (a plus)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in US time zones, if required

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
